Why this site exists
I have been keeping research notes in a private repo for a while: what breaks when a local model runs a real agent loop, what an MCP server can and can't do on iOS, what quantitative trading looks like once you take fixed costs seriously. Some of that is worth publishing.
This site is where the full text lives. It is a static site on GitHub Pages, generated from Markdown, and the source is public. Platforms — Hacker News, Zhihu, wherever — get a summary and a link back here. Not the other way around.
Two rules for everything posted here:
- Every factual claim has a source. If I can't point at a document, a run, or a trajectory, the claim doesn't go in.
- Corrections stay visible. When I find I was wrong, the fix is marked in place — it isn't silently edited away.
The first real post is a look at whether an MCP server can run on an iPhone, and why the answer is mostly no. It's coming once the English draft has been read twice.
